August Social: A Tasty Treat!
Happening tonight! We hope to see you at the Little Blue Bakehouse from 5:30 to 7 p.m. today, Thursday, August 7, 2025. Feel free to drop in anytime, it’s casual. If you haven’t been to the Little Blue Bakehouse yet, you’re in for a treat. They are a coffee house and central kitchen for multiple small bakers, and their members have diverse offerings, including a vendor who specializes in gluten-free goodies - there is something for everyone. It’s located near the Alamo theatre on New Bern Avenue.
Jennifer Smith will be collecting Confidence Kits donations, so please bring hygiene items if you have them to share.
Walking & Talking Tuesdays at Crabtree Mall
We here you, downtown isn’t convenient for everyone! So we have changed our meeting place for this new activity. Jenny Doyle and Jennifer Smith are co-leading our first walking meet up! Thanks so much, ladies! We will be meeting up at Crabtree Valley Mall to walk inside, which the mall encourages. Two laps around the entire perimeter of the lower level—including all wings—is one mile. Who knew? We will meet in front of Gloria Jean’s coffee on the lower level, by H&M.
Walking and talking starts at 5:30 pm and goes until 6:30pm. Women of all fitness levels are welcome. As always, please invite a friend or colleague. RSVP here so we know who to look for.
